Calumpit Longganisa
Calumpit Longganisa, also known as longganisang bawang, is a Filipino delicacy- a version of the pork sausage made in Calumpit, Bulacan, Philippines. It is a type of de recado longganisa (mixed garlic & spices) made with lean pork, pork fat, garlic, bay leaves, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, black pepper, and optionally, chili for the spicy variants. Now it also has a sweet variant or as we also know as hamonado longganisa.
Calongga is a homemade product fresh from Calumpit, Bulacan. We are proud of our heritage, the recipe we use is an original from our Lola since the 1950's. No preservatives and only with the freshest and best quality ingredients.
Calongga is reinventing this old-school classic and bringing it closer to you!

How to enjoy the perfect Calongga?
Below are 3 easy steps:
1. Boil in water. Water levels should almost cover the longganisa (not full). Once boiling, leave for 5 minutes and drain the water.
2. Poke the longganisa with fork to let the juice/oil out.
3. Fry until desired doneness.
